SEWF 2014 will focus on ‘Social Change through Social Enterprise’, which will be an arena for social entrepreneurs to exchange ideas and innovations for social enterprise development.
Some of the industry’s leading players will set the scene, providing examples of how social innovation, social inclusion and social investment have made, and can make, positive changes in our society.
Our social innovation theme explores how technology and imagination have played a pivotal role in the emergence of new creative start-ups. While our social inclusion stream will highlight the impact made to businesses through addressing the pressing global issue of unemployment. We will also gain an understanding of how effective social investment supports social integration.
Our key objective is for SEWF 2014 to bring people together in Seoul who believe the importance and role our dynamic sector has to play in creating new business and investment opportunities within new and emerging markets, developing partnerships and harnessing innovative ideas for a better world.
